UMA of blackburn is proud to announce that it is succesfully stepping into its sixth year. The last five years have seen the tremendous growth of UMA as a vibrant and dynamic community.

The United Malayalee Association is a non-party political & non-sectarian association of individuals of Malayalee heritage(India) in Blackburn. The association was officially formed in Jan.2004.

The Group was established to promote social,cultural & intellectual abilities of its members and to promote charitable purposes/activities in the community and to promote,encourage and undertake experimental ideas in the community.

The group has already witnessed a new beginning last year with the active participation of the next generation inthe various cultural activities. Godwilling, the next 2-3 years will witness the presence of the next generation in the various activities of the community.
